Pinnertest USA and its affiliates are required by law to maintain the privacy of your personal health information and are committed to doing so. This information includes your physical and mental health condition at any time, the care that you have been provided and the way you pay for health care.  In addition, highly sensitive personal identifiers are kept private such as your social security number and birth date.  Pinnertest USA abides by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, Public Law 104-191 (“HIPAA”), and the 1998 Data Protection Act.


a) Use by Pinnertest USA and its affiliates: You take the tests of Pinnertest USA and its affiliates to find out if you may have any food intolerances. Pinnertest USA and its affiliates will use any blood samples or other medical information or personal data that you supply about yourself to analyze it in a lab and supply the resulting report in conjunction with other medical information you may have supplied for the most accurate results possible. Such information is also used to assist you in understanding those results. Your health care information may also be used in billing by the company and its affiliates.  Any affiliates with whom Pinnertest USA shares your personal information shall also be bound by the terms of this agreement or a similar agreement.

b) Statutory and Public Health Exceptions: Pinnertest may disclose your personal health information when required by law to prevent and control disease, or as required by the Food and Drug Administration regarding the quality, safety and effectiveness any product or activity of Pinnertest.


Any information you provide to Pinnertest USA or its affiliates not covered above, and not protected by statute, may be used by Pinnertest USA for any purpose and is not considered confidential. Examples of such information would be emails, blogs, and comments sent or posted by you. Any purpose of use may include reproduction or modification of such non-confidential information in any media form by any means and for any reason.


We gather user names, addresses and emails, and test results. All test results remain confidential except as would be necessary to develop and deliver the results. Users names, addresses, and emails may be used for marketing and sale purposes unless a person opts out.


Before you send your test kit in you will be asked to sign a HIPAA authorization. Pinnertest will not to use or disclose certain protected health information {“PHI’) without your voluntary written authorization. Pinnertest does not condition medical treatment on the signing of these Authorizations. However, you must sign the Authorization if you would like to participate in the Pinner test which authorization will state as follows:

I authorize Pinnertest to use and disclose my PHI as described below for the purpose(s) described below. I understand Pinnertest will not further use or disclose the PHI described on this Authorization unless another Authorization Is obtained from me or unless such use or disclosure is specifically required or permitted by taw The PHI disclosed pursuant to this Authorization may be subject to re-disclosure and no longer protected, I hereby release Pinnertest from any and all liability that may arise from the release of my PHI, as, described herein. Description of Information to be used or disclosed: Health Information provided by me related to my Pinnertest test request. PHI to be used for the following purpose: To be provided directly to Pinnertest physician so that a determination as to the appropriateness of my test request may be evaluated.

I understand that this Authorization will terminate/expire upon me providing a revocation of authorization to Pinnertest by contacting customerservice@pinnertest.com, or by U.S. mail at 206 Pegasus Ave. Ste 6D Northvale NJ 07647. I understand that I may revoke this Authorization at any time, except to the extent that disclosure has already taken place pursuant to this Authorization. I understand that once Pinnertest receives my revocation of this Authorization, Pinnertest can only use and disclose my PHI as permitted by its Privacy Policy and as permitted or required by law

This Privacy Policy is currently effective and will remain so until further notice. Any changes will be posted on this website. Pinnertest USA reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time, in accordance with law.
